Factories and production plants
Risk: Fire from electrical panels and machinery, welding and grinding sparks, accumulated scrap and waste, night-time theft.
Setup: Production lines, panel rooms, raw material and finished goods storage plus the outdoor yard are monitored. Welding and grinding areas are defined as time-restricted zones: excluded from fire monitoring during working hours and switched on automatically after them. Normal workshop activity raises no alarm, while a spark at the same spot overnight is caught immediately.
Logistics warehouses
Risk: Fire spreading rapidly across high racking, heat from forklifts and charging stations, night-time theft, long perimeters.
Setup: The classic scenario where high ceilings leave smoke detectors too slow. Aisles, loading docks, charging areas and perimeter cameras are monitored. At night the whole site opens to person detection; during the day only the perimeter stays active.
Recycling and waste facilities
Risk: The highest fire risk of any sector. Lithium batteries, aerosol cans and chemical waste in bale stacks can self-ignite, and the fire starts deep inside the pile where it may go unnoticed for hours.
Setup: Cameras covering bale and scrap yards run in fire mode 24/7. Because these are open areas, detectors are practically useless; video analysis is the only realistic early-warning method here. Smoke detection matters especially, since these fires give off smoke long before visible flame.
Greenhouses and agriculture
Risk: Fire from heating systems and fuel stores, rapid ignition of plastic sheeting, night-time theft at remote locations.
Setup: Heating units, fuel/boiler rooms and greenhouse corridors are monitored. Humidity and dust make sensors unreliable in this environment, whereas camera analysis is unaffected. The greenhouse perimeter is placed under person detection at night.
Livestock farms and feed plants
Risk: Fire in straw and feed stores (with the added risk of livestock loss), dust and heat from feed machinery, theft along long perimeters.
Setup: Straw/feed stores and barn corridors go under fire monitoring. Because dust and steam from feed machinery can cause false alarms, zone and verification settings are tuned specifically at those points. The long perimeter is protected at night with person and vehicle detection.
Fuel stations
Risk: Fuel fires grow extremely fast; an environment where seconds make the difference.
Setup: Pump islands, tank filling areas and the shop surroundings are monitored. Because vehicle headlights move through the scene constantly, night-time flame/headlight discrimination and vehicle overlap checks play a critical role.
Construction sites
Risk: Theft of cable, copper, fuel and equipment; fire from welding and heaters; no permanent security infrastructure.
Setup: Sites change constantly and permanent cabling is impractical, so portable installations are preferred. Material storage, generators and the entrance gate are monitored. Outside working hours the entire site opens to person and vehicle detection.
Timber and wood yards
Risk: Sawdust and wood dust ignite very quickly; open stacking yards let fire spread with the wind.
Setup: Stacking yards and cutting/processing areas are under fire monitoring 24/7. As open yards, they have no viable detector alternative.
Textile plants and warehouses
Risk: Fast ignition of fabric and fibre stacks, machinery overheating, cotton dust.
Setup: Production halls, fabric stores and panel rooms are monitored. In heavily dusty environments video analysis behaves far more consistently than sensors.
Energy and transformer sites
Risk: Transformer and panel fires, late discovery at unmanned sites, copper theft.
Setup: Transformer yards and panel areas are monitored. Since these sites are usually unmanned, person detection can stay active all day — anyone entering the site is reported.
Indoor and outdoor car parks
Risk: Vehicle fires (particularly around EV charging bays), vehicle and in-vehicle theft.
Setup: Charging stations and parking levels are monitored. Because parked vehicles are separated out as stationary objects, they do not alarm continuously; only genuine movement and events are reported.
Residential complexes, malls and hotels
Risk: Fire in common areas and plant rooms, unauthorised entry around car parks and grounds.
Setup: Plant rooms, waste/storage areas and the perimeter are monitored. In busy common areas person detection is enabled only during night hours and in selected zones.
The common thread: every one of these facilities already has cameras, and those cameras already point at the risk areas. AI Kameram does not build new infrastructure; it adds a layer that watches the existing footage 24/7.
If your site is not on the list
The list above covers common scenarios but is not exhaustive. What matters is not your industry but the answer to three questions: Do your cameras see the risk area? Within how many minutes do you need to know when something happens? Are there hours when nobody is on site? If you have answers to those three, the system can be adapted to your site.
